What is ex-Display?

A large quantity of the books for sale on DustyCovers.co.uk are labelled as "ex-Display". This basically means that they are books that at one point in time, were used as display books inside shops.

As ex-Display books, there is often a chance that the book will have suffered some minor damage as the books have been browsed by customers in the shops. These books are still new, and have not been owned by any other person before, except the shop in which they were displayed.

An example of the minor damage that can be found on ex-Display books may be bends and creases in the book cover which would mean they are not suitable to be sold as "Brand New" by the shops. You may sometimes find a stamp in the book cover that states the book is ex-display.
