Based on the novel by Paul Gotlieb, and set in the high-pressure world of Madison Avenue Advertising, Robert Mitchum stars in this provocative thriller based on the effects of subliminal messages in TV commercials.
When media manipulation and unscrupulous politicians combine, a scheme with the intention of persuading the public to vote for Madison Avenue's new owner, Ted Quinn's ( Mitchum's) election candidate is devised.
