Complete first series of the television comedy, starring Martin Clunes as eccentric and irascible doctor Martin Ellingham, who has to give up a lucrative surgical career to take a position as a rural GP in Cornwall after he develops a phobia about blood. In this series, Martin realises that his metropolitan ways are going to clash with the locals, while his sacking of his incompetant secretary makes him enemies throughout the viillage. Episodes are: 'Going Bodmin'; 'Gentlemen Prefer'; 'Shit Happens'; 'The Portwenn Effect'; 'Of All the Harbours in All the Towns'; and 'Haemophobia'.
