Description for 3 Classic Westerns Of The Silver Screen - Vol. 4 - Angel And The Badman / Cowboy And The Senorita / (DVD)
Triple-bill of classic westerns. John Wayne stars in 'Angel and the Badman' (1946) as Quart Evans, ex-deputy sheriff of Wyatt Earp, now a rough and ready gunslinger. After being injured in a shootout, Evans is taken in and nursed by a Quaker family. He finds himself falling for the daughter (Gail Russell), and attempts to give up gunslinging. However, his determination to bring a group of murderers to justice threatens his new-found peace of mind. 'Cowboy and the Senorita (1944) stars Roy Rogers as a prospector on the run after being falsely accused of kidnapping, who finds a cache of hidden treasure. 'The Old Coral' (1936) is an early western starring Gene Autry as a sheriff who comes up against some Chicago mobsters.
