Description for Pumpkinhead (DVD)
"For each man's evil a special demon exists..." so say the inhabitants of the backwoods where a young boy has been accidentally killed by a group of bikers. Some call the tale a myth but Ed Harley, the boy's father, knows better... As a small child, he once saw Pumpkinhead doing his deadly work.
Now, to satisfy his primitive lust for revenge against the reckless bikers, Ed summons the hideous monster to rise again. Not realising that in doing so, he would suffer the worst of all. Forced to experience every brutal moment of Pumpkinhead's uncontrollable rampage, Ed must face the consequences of his dark obsession with retribution.
The directorial debut of Stan Winston - special effects maestro behind The Terminator and winner of an Academy Award for Aliens - is a technical and artistic tour de force.
